Mr. ROHIT PRATAPSINGH

A dedicated educator in the primary education
department in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, he has devoted his life to fostering the physical, intellectual, and
moral development of children. He holds the position of Assistant Teacher and is currently serving as
the Nodal Sankul Shikshak (KRP) at Composite
School Newadhiya in the Bhadar district of Amethi,
Uttar Pradesh. Recognizing the profound responsibility of teaching, he believes it plays a crucial role in
building strong communities and ensuring a sense of
ownership over one’s future.
He imparts knowledge to his students with immense
enthusiasm, fostering the development of creative
minds, as he believes creativity is the key to future
success. He uses various teaching aids such as TLM (Teaching-Learning Material), crafts, audiovisual
videos, augmented reality technology, and outdoor tours. His teaching methodology is hands-on and
practical, allowing students to connect with the subject matter in a tangible manner.
He believes in teamwork because if there are many things to do in a limited time, then cooperation
plays an essential role in achieving success in desired work in school /departmental work. He, with
his team, trained students for games like kabaddi, yoga, gymnastics, judo karate, Sprint, javelin
throw, discus throw, etc. In the year 2021-22, his students qualified for state games in many categories, but due to covid 19, no state games were held in Uttar Pradesh after one year; in 2022-23, students
again qualified for zonal games with many gold medals and further for state games and twinned with
BRONZE medals in many categories.
The basic education department of the government lacks financial support for sports. Consequently,
he and his team take the initiative to secure funds and other essentials to fulfil the basic requirements
for students’ games, paving the way for a brighter future. In recognition of his contributions, he has
been honoured with numerous awards at the local, district, state, and national levels. He was selected
at the district level for the Chief Minister award and nominated for the Presidential award from
Amethi District’s primary education department at the state level. He was selected for the ICT Award
at the state level in the year 2022 and was awarded the best teacher award by district magistrate
Amethi on the occasion of Teachers’ Day on 5 September. On International Teacher’s Day, he was
awarded with “ANMOL RATN AWARD” by Mission Shikshan Samvad Group. He participated in the
International Teachers Olympiad and got the opportunity to contribute to pedagogical strategy at the
global level. He has also been awarded many other certificates by Pratham, DDES (Digital design
animation for schools), ZIIEI, Arvind Society, Vodafone idea Zigyasa program, gurushala, etc. This
year 2023 he awarded with Eduleaders UP Award 2023 by additional director of basic education , and
he also awarded STATE ICT ( information and communications technology) Award by UP government. He selected 1st rank in best practices in education competition by state level. He nominated as
master trainer for NIPUN BHARAT MISSION for district level
