Jyothipoojari, also known by her pen name Jyopooja,
embarked on a remarkable journey as a freelance
journalist from 1985 to 1991 after graduating from
Osmania University. Her narrative takes shape
against a challenging backdrop characterized by
numerous difficulties and obstacles. Despite the
hurdles presented by her surroundings, Jyothipoojari’s commitment remained steadfast.
Her engagement in community service started after
her marriage. She aimed to establish an institute
providing free training across various courses for
women, intending to impart practical skills and instil
a profound sense of empowerment in them. Jyothipoojari’s commitment to community service extended
to the establishment of a society and trust dedicated to educating and empowering challenged
women and children. Her journey gained momentum in 2007 as she collaborated with others to
provide comprehensive community services.
Jyothipoojari took the role of an English-language enhancement programmer, making a significant
impact through her language training programs that benefited many individuals. Notably, she
utilized half of her earnings to serve the challenge. Her belief in the transformative power of education and skills for self-development and societal change guided her efforts. Her work aimed not only
at rehabilitation but also at empowering individuals, particularly those from juvenile homes. In her
