G. YASMEENIMTIAZ

G. Yasmeen Imtiaz is a Physiotherapist with a Master’s degree in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy. She is
currently working as an Assistant Professor at SRM
College of Physiotherapy, SRM Institute of Science
and Technology, Kattankulathur campus. She is also
pursuing PhD at SRM Institute of Science of Technology, Kattankulathur. She has completed her Master’s
in Physiotherapy (PT in orthopaedic conditions)
from Jaya College of Physiotherapy, Tirunindravur,
Chennai and her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the
Government Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine,
Chennai.
She has 7 years of experience as an Assistant professor (from September 2016 till date) at SRM College of
Physiotherapy, SRM Institute of Science of Technology. While talking about her goal, she states, “I
want to work in a demanding, accountable role at an organization with expert management so I can
contribute my abilities to the success of the organization.”
She has attended several online and offline courses, FDPs, Workshops, Seminars, CMEs and Conferences to hone her skills and improve the lives of the students. She has 8 Publications in Scopus-indexed and UGC journals. She has also presented Topic as a Resource Person on Amputation- An
Overview and Stump Management at Srm College of Physiotherapy, Srmist for Mspt Update. She
actively participates in supervising master’s and bachelor’s projects, mentoring students, and organizing bachelor’s program participants for academic advancement.

• BIOETHICON 2019 THIRD PLACE IN ORAL PAPER PRESENTATION ON THE TOPIC –
ETHICS & PHYSIOTHERAPY CURRICULUM- REVIEW
• RESEARCH DAY 2019 @ SRMIST – GOLD MEDAL FOR THE PAPER PRESENTATION ON THE
TOPIC – A ROLE OF DEVICE GUIDED PASTE BREATHING ON BLOOD PRESSURE REDUCTION
