Dr. Hemant Pal Ghritlahare, born on May 20, 1977, in Dhangaon (Pamgarh), Chhattisgarh, adheres to the Satnam tradition of Saint Shiromani Guru Ghasidas Ji. With an extensive educational background including a PhD in Hindi, NET, SLET, and an MA in English, he boasts 24 years of teaching experience, with significant tenure in both school education and higher education. His teaching journey spans six years in postgraduate classes, twenty one years in undergraduate classes, and three years in school education. He is focused to make students aware about personality development and career guidance.
Embracing teaching as a noble service, he ardently advocates for the advancement of socially and economically disadvantaged students. By his moral and financial support, some students are now working as doctor, assistant professor, lecturer, Inspector, researchers, singers, sports players etc. His illustrious career includes a commendable stint of 15 years as a Principal In-charge, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and administrative skills, He led colleges in its highest possible level in academic and administrative fields, he has been closely attached and given his best for his students and his institutions. Currently posted at Government Bilasa Girls Post Graduate Autonomous College Bilaspur and serving as the Head of the Hindi Department at Government Madan Lal Shukla Post Graduate College Seepat, he continues to inspire and mentor aspiring minds.
As an accomplished educator, poet, writer, speaker, spiritual healer and singer, he has contributed significantly to academia with six published books and numerous research papers. His scholarly endeavors have earned him national recognition, exemplified by prestigious awards such as the Jyotiba Phule National Teacher Award, Guru Ghasidas Samajik Chetna Samman, Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Samman, Vishisht Naagari Sevi Samman. His dedication to academic excellence extends beyond teaching, as evidenced by his roles as a Recognized Research Supervisor and his involvement in various administrative capacities. He contributed in making the new National Education Policy of India.
His academic journey is marked by continuous learning and professional development. He has attended a plethora of training programs, seminars, and workshops, enriching his expertise in Hindi language and literature. Furthermore, he has actively contributed to research, with several research papers published in ugc listed esteemed journals and books. His research interests encompass diverse themes such as gender studies, social issues, tribes and culture, environment and literary analysis.
In addition to his academic pursuits, he is deeply committed to social causes and community development. He has spearheaded various initiatives aimed at empowering youth and promoting education, including the establishment of educational institutions and charitable trust. His philanthropic efforts have positively impacted the lives of many socio-economically disadvantaged individuals, providing them with opportunities for academic and personal growth. He is the state level trainer of Rajbhasha Chhattisgarhi.
