Dr. Gaurav Khanna stands as a towering figure in the field of education, renowned for his innovative contributions to commerce education and child-centered learning. Born in 1979 in Uttar Pradesh, he completed his secondary education in Moradabad before pursuing further studies in Jaipur, Rajasthan. His journey into education began with a commitment to uplift children facing financial challenges, laying the foundation for his transformative approach to learning.
Rejecting conventional teaching methods, Dr. Gaurav Khanna championed an educational paradigm centered around independence, self-direction, and hands-on exploration. Armed with a Master’s degree in ABST from Rajasthan University and an MBA in International Business from the University of Kota, he garnered accolades, including a Gold Medal awarded by the Governor of Rajasthan, Shri Kalraj Mishra, for academic excellence.
Throughout his career, he served as a beacon of innovation, pioneering the establishment of commerce departments in various schools of Jaipur. His dedication to commerce education earned him recognition as the Best Promising Commerce Teacher of 2016 by CREDENT, an esteemed education enterprise in Jaipur. His methodology emphasized not only academic excellence but also the holistic development of each student, instilling a deep sense of respect for individual abilities and potential.
In 2017, while teaching at St. Xavier’s School, Jaipur, he seized the opportunity to share his expertise in accountancy and commerce with students in the UAE, expanding his influence beyond national borders. His visionary approach continues to inspire educators worldwide, reinforcing the notion that education transcends rote learning to ignite a lifelong passion for discovery and growth.
With a wealth of international experience under his belt, he transitioned into school administration, assuming the role of Principal at Delhi Public School, Bandikui (Rajasthan). His leadership prowess and commitment to excellence have garnered him numerous accolades, including the Global Edu Icons Award, Outstanding Education Leadership Award, and Top 100 Principal’s Award, among others.
In addition to his administrative duties, he serves as a resource person for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and as a District Training Coordinator, imparting his expertise to educators across Rajasthan. He has conducted motivational sessions for both teachers and students, inspiring them to reach their full potential and embrace a culture of lifelong learning.
