Dr. BISWAJITBARMAN

Dr. BISWAJIT BARMAN is a graduate and a holder
of a Bachelor of Education certificate from Gauhati
University, Assam. He also holds a certificate in
primary education from IGNOU. Dr. Barman has
received various accolades, including district cum
block level excellent teacher awards, person teaching
awards, Mindful Teacher of the Year, and an honorary doctorate from the World Human Rights Protection Commission for his outstanding social service.
Currently, he is professionally engaged as the head
of an educational institution.
In the field of education, Dr. Barman has pioneered
innovative ideas and thoughts in the teaching and
learning process, focusing on developing problem-solving skills in children. He strongly believes in the concept of learning by doing, emphasizing
that children learn best through practical engagement. Dr Barman promotes project-based learning to
shape the behaviour of children and mould them into responsible democratic citizens.
During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, he proactively reached out to students
through online platforms, earning him recognition and acclaim. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Barman has taken on the role of a resource person for teacher training at the state level.
Recently, he was appointed as an SRG (State Resource Group) member for the NISTHA training
program aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

teacher training highlight his influential role in shaping the future of education, particularly during
the transformative period of the new normal brought about by the pandemic.
