Innovator in Education: Mr. Prabhas Ghai’s Impact on Pre-Primary and Primary Learning

Mr. Prabhas specialises in Pre-Primary and Primary Education. He is a teacher Trainer at Knowledge Tree World School and Rising Stars Junior School. He has worked in various schools, notably Knowledge Tree World School and Rising Stars Junior School. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons), B.Ed., and MA in Psychology, a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, and a Diploma in Special Education.  He has designed the curriculum of several schools in Delhi and Gurugram for their Pre-Primary and Primary Wings.  Another change brought about by Mr. Prabhas is the departure from numerical or grade-based evaluations of children to a more thorough, qualitative, and anecdotal examination of them.

Prabhas has also worked as a Teacher Trainer for in-service, pre-service teachers and trainee teachers. He has led numerous teacher capacity-building programs. Additionally, Mr. Ghai has contributed to the creation of language textbooks for Pre-Primary students in both Hindi and English. He has designed a workshop on Adolescent Behavior to empower students in effectively handling the social challenges specific to their age group.

In the realm of theatre in education, Mr Prabhas has coordinated several workshops for educators, aiming to integrate theatre into their teaching and learning approaches. His dedication to mainstreaming inclusive education in schools and empowering teachers to adeptly manage students with diverse needs and abilities in an inclusive classroom is commendable. In recognition of his exceptional contributions, he was honoured with the Dr. S. Radhakrishnan National Teacher’s Award at the Constitution Club of India in 2016.
