Geetha Bennet has been the principal of Chinmaya
Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School for the past 25
years. She holds an M.Ed. in education and is a postgraduate in the computer stream. She strives to inculcate value-based and high-quality education to the
children to face the day-to-day challenges and
provide a healthy atmosphere and safe environment
for teaching and learning transactions.

Swami Chinmayananda refers to children as the
future of the nation and also emphasizes that training
the mind is the essence of education. People believe
that the level of education is directly related to the knowledge base. This limited perspective on education makes it seem like nothing more than a means of advancing one’s career. However, actual education is more comprehensive and vesting.
She claims that a lot has changed in the past several decades and anxiety and depression have become
equivalent to cold and fever. To cope with this, she suggests that educational realms must ensure the
well-being of the students by effectively implementing programs that include a wide spectrum of
topics ranging from physical, spiritual, and intellectual development encompassing topics like patriotism and universal outlook. In light of this, these topics have been addressed in the Chinmaya Vision
Program (CVP), a thorough educational curriculum based on the ideas and counsel of Swami Chinmayananda. Every school operating under the Chinmaya Mission implements the CVP program that
offers a comprehensive vision that empowers students to tackle problems, grow as individuals, and
generously give back to society in many ways
