Akshay Patel

Akshay Patel Studied Civil Engineering at IIT Roorkee and has done his M.Tech from a renowned educational institution. He was the GATE topper (civil engineering), AIEEE SR 1, and had also appeared in UPSC and ESE Mains.

Akshay Patel has six years of teaching experience in various well-known institutes nationwide. After the same, he founded Holistic Academy. Holistic Academy is Gujarat’s only academy where founders teach, as teaching is more of a passion than a profession for them. The academy has trained more than 4000+ students with a 43% success ratio. They have experienced 650+ Teaching Hours for GPSC Class 1, 2 Pre, 600+ Teaching Hours for Mains (GES) & 700+ Teaching Hours for GATE.

Holistic Academy has also received two important awards in the education field so far.

1) Shiksha Awards for Best Education Academy, Delhi, in 2021

2) Asian Education Awards for Best Coaching Institute of Gujarat in May 2023

Founder Akshay Patel believes Education is power. He says, “I realized this ten years ago when I passed out from IIT Roorkee, and I wondered how I could make the most out of the knowledge I have the privilege to hold. The best use of knowledge is to share it and empower more people like you. Alone you can make a difference; together, we can drive the world and make it a better place.

He ended by saying; we believe we are not in the profession of coaching students but in the mission of shaping the future of this country by mentoring change-makers. This reflects in our teaching patterns, as we go beyond the curriculum to make students learn the practical implementations of tough concepts, and not just prepare them for the competitive exam but to add value to their life.

Harshil Thakkar

Harshil Thakkar studied Civil Engineering at IIT Kharagpur and did his M.Tech with GEO Tech. He is a 3 Times GATE Qualifier. Ha was amongst the top 3 in Gujarat in L&T BIS 2018.

He is the co-founder of Holistic Academy, and having more than four years of experience, he is helping so many students change their lives is the most significant achievement for us at Holistic Academy.

Harshil Thakkar believes there’s more to competitive exams than getting that job or passing that interview. ‘Competitive’ exams, as the name says, during the journey, teach you so much more than those concepts. It’s about perseverance when you get a string of low scores, about hard work across the preparation journey, avoiding so many distractions, and handling pressure at that crucial moment in the exam hall. This teaches you so much more about life than passing an exam, which is what we try to convey through our teaching methods. At Holistic, we aren’t preparing for a test but for the bigger problem-solving of this world as responsible and able engineers—day in and out, we work towards creating more thinkers, doers, and problem-solvers.
